We are not just a house. We are a home.
25 years in the healthcare industry, it seems I have seen it all.
My name is Wilna. I started my nursing career when I was 19. I graduated in the Philippines and I am a proud La-Sallian “Animo La Salle” from the humble small city of Bacolod. My American dream started young as my late father’s family migrated and lived in Hawaii. Since then, I studied hard. I landed a top 19 spot at the national’s nurse’s examination and eventually bagged free work opportunity with visa sponsorship to work and migrate to the US.
The Dream was made.
I worked as a local and national reviewer for foreign nurses examination before migrating. I learned the challenges in the healthcare industry as I worked various nursing platforms such as hospitals, nursing facilities, clinics, schools, pharmaceutical companies, home health agencies, hospice agency.
The Life was made.
Along the way, I met a lot of people. Some of them gave me disappointments but most of them inspired me. These individuals silently mentored me with leadership, skills, knowledge, wisdom, entrepreneurship.
The Chase was born.
With every experience and opportunity I met a lot of great people, with great talent and skill. I realize we all need each other to learn and to thrive.
The House of Wilna was born.
We are a home for people with big dreams of making a difference and creating solutions to the pain points of the industry. We are a home for those who lived a life , breathe the life of caring people in all walks of life. We understand and we will extend our hands so we can all chase that dream of success. The house was born as a pursuit of happiness and to gather those with exceptional talent and passion whose goal is to fulfill their life’s purpose.
